Dizengoff Nigeria is playing a significant role in furthering the development of skills amongst young people in Agriculture through the management of the “Agri-Yes” (Youth Empowerment Scheme) project in Lagos State. Already, an education centre and commercial support centre are well established as the Dizengoff and State team move on, now, to develop the first settlement for graduates of the scheme. On a sad note, however, the Dizengoff Manager with the vision and passion to make this project happen, Mr Dani Lamdan, passed away in his sleep while on a trip to persuade other State Governors in Nigeria to emulate the success story in Lagos. Dani will be sadly missed by all who knew him and had come to recognize his passion for improving the lives of others!
